Clifton Foodservice Consultants Ltd offer consultancy services to catering businesses helping to save them time and money,with everything from menu development. kitchen design,and packaging solutions,right through to hiring and retaining the right staff.
Started by fully trained chef Director Alison Cullin-Woodcock in early 2018, Alison has an extensive range of experience in both the hotel and contract catering sectors. She has also worked for the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment.

Welcome to my brand-new website and a whole new-world of adventure for me! Below you will find my story about my love for the ever-changing foodservice industry, and my drive to help passionate people grow their businesses.
My career in foodservice began after I enrolled in catering college in the early 1980's. I remember my father remarked that “at least the only known part of the equation was the no matter the state of the world or everybody’s personal occasion – everyone always wants to eat and drink, so my taxes are probably going to be well spent". How right he was.
I became a qualified chef, and now have now served over 30 years in the foodservice business. I am lucky enough to have had experience in both the hotel and contract catering sectors, as well for the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment.
In 2005 I relocated to Tampa, Florida with a company called Welbilt (formerly Enodis and Manitowoc Foodservice). I created a new chef’s team to support and align with some of the world’s largest restaurant groups, retail operations and foodservice providers.
In my role as Corporate Executive Chef and Director for Global Culinary Development, I gained extensive experience in kitchen design and logistics, food and beverage ideation, and staff recruitment & training; as well as providing global sustainable packaging solutions.
Now three decades into my career, I look back and I have been engaged and involved with some of the most professional and gifted people in our business. I have been lucky enough to travel the world and to work with some amazing industry icons, as well as meeting a lot of professional people who I am proud to call friends.
In early 2018, I decided I wanted to use my knowledge and experience to help other businesses grow and started thinking about setting up my own business. Then following multiple discussions with friends, family and colleagues, on May 1st 2018 Clifton Foodservice Consultants Ltd was born.
The idea behind Clifton Foodservice Consultants Ltd is to be able to provide support and advice for foodservice businesses, to help them to save time and money. Our expert, fully bespoke solutions will be able to help in all areas of food and beverage development including global packaging solutions, commercial kitchen design process and equipment solutions.
We can also provide staff training, standard operating procedures, and on site operational reviews.
